1. Introduction

These AI Terms of Use ("AI Terms") apply to any artificial intelligence ("AI") features made available through Yeti Doc.

These AI Terms form part of the Yeti Doc Terms & Conditions.

By using any AI-powered feature, you agree to these AI Terms.

If AI features are not currently available, these Terms are provided for future reference only.

2. Purpose of AI Features

Yeti Doc may introduce AI-powered tools designed to assist users with document preparation and management.

Examples may include:

  • Drafting documents.
  • Summarising documents.
  • Explaining legal terminology in plain English.
  • Suggesting document clauses.
  • Improving writing.
  • Grammar and spelling suggestions.
  • Email drafting.
  • Contract comparisons.
  • Template creation.
  • Workflow recommendations.
  • Intelligent search.
  • Smart document tagging.
  • Data extraction.
  • Signature workflow suggestions.

AI is designed to assist users—not replace professional judgment.

3. AI Is an Assistant

AI-generated content is intended to help users work more efficiently.

AI should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making legal, financial, commercial, employment, medical, or other important decisions.

Users remain responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using, sending, publishing, or signing documents.

4. No Legal Advice

Yeti Doc is a technology platform.

Our AI features:

  • Do not provide legal advice.
  • Do not establish a lawyer-client relationship.
  • Do not replace independent legal advice.
  • Do not guarantee legal compliance.

If you require legal advice, you should consult a qualified legal professional.

5. Accuracy

Artificial intelligence can make mistakes.

AI-generated content may:

  • Be inaccurate.
  • Be incomplete.
  • Contain outdated information.
  • Misinterpret context.
  • Omit important details.
  • Produce inconsistent results.
  • Generate unsuitable wording.

You should always review AI-generated content carefully before relying on it.

6. Human Review

Before sending or signing any document created or modified using AI, you should:

  • Read the entire document.
  • Check names and dates.
  • Verify legal clauses.
  • Confirm pricing and figures.
  • Ensure recipient information is correct.
  • Confirm that the document reflects your intentions.

AI should never replace careful human review.

7. Your Responsibility

You remain solely responsible for:

  • Documents you create.
  • Documents you edit.
  • Documents you send.
  • AI prompts you provide.
  • AI-generated content you choose to use.
  • Decisions made using AI-generated information.

Using AI does not transfer responsibility to Yeti Doc.

8. Appropriate Use

You must not use AI features to:

  • Generate unlawful documents.
  • Commit fraud.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Produce misleading information.
  • Create defamatory material.
  • Circumvent applicable laws.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Generate harmful or malicious content.

Use of AI must always comply with the Yeti Doc Acceptable Use Policy.

9. AI Training

Yeti Doc respects the confidentiality of customer documents.

By default, Yeti Doc does not use your private documents or prompts to train our own AI models.

Where we use third-party AI providers to process your requests, they are expected to process information only for the purpose of providing the requested AI service and in accordance with applicable agreements and privacy obligations.

If our approach to AI training changes in the future, we will clearly explain those changes and, where required by law, obtain any necessary consent.

10. Confidential Information

Before submitting confidential information to an AI feature, you should consider whether the information is appropriate to process using AI.

If your organisation has internal policies restricting the use of AI with confidential information, you are responsible for complying with those policies.

11. Availability

AI features may:

  • Change.
  • Improve.
  • Produce different results over time.
  • Be temporarily unavailable.
  • Be discontinued.
  • Become premium features.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of AI features.

12. Third-Party AI Providers

Some AI features may be provided through trusted third-party AI service providers.

Where third-party providers are used:

  • Requests may be securely processed by those providers.
  • Processing may occur in different countries.
  • Additional privacy protections may apply.
  • Third-party providers remain subject to their own terms and privacy obligations.

Yeti Doc carefully selects providers that meet our security and reliability expectations.

13. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original documents and content.

Subject to applicable law and any rights of third-party providers, you generally own the AI-generated content created specifically for you through Yeti Doc.

Yeti Doc retains ownership of:

  • The AI systems.
  • Platform software.
  • Workflows.
  • Prompt libraries.
  • Templates.
  • Branding.
  • User interface.
  • Proprietary technology.

14. Feedback

If you provide feedback about AI features, you grant Yeti Doc a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve our products and services.

Providing feedback does not entitle you to compensation.

15. Changes to AI Features

Artificial intelligence evolves rapidly.

Yeti Doc may:

  • Improve AI models.
  • Introduce new AI capabilities.
  • Replace underlying AI technologies.
  • Retire outdated features.
  • Modify response formats.
  • Adjust usage limits.

We may update these AI Terms to reflect such changes.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yeti Doc is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

Users remain responsible for independently verifying the accuracy and suitability of AI-generated outputs before acting upon them.

Nothing in these AI Terms excludes any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
